You can also find us at the Dakota Square Mall Food Court, where we’re open daily during regular mall hours. We serve pizzas – whole or by the slice, plus pastas, soups, sandwiches, calzones, salads, desserts and beverages.

All-you-can-eat buffet
Available Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., plus Monday and Thursday, 5-8 p.m. features pizzas, pastas, soups, chicken, ribs and salad bar.

Sammy’s Pizza has been a North Dakota tradition since 1959 when Dave’s parents, Albert and Carmella (Perrella) Shomento and his brother, Bert, first opened the restaurant in Minot. The following year, Bert, along with his wife Annamarie, took over the family business, which they continued to run for the next 40 years.
The restaurant moved to its present location in 1970, where extended family members (that’s what we call our customers) have enjoyed many celebrations and get-togethers.
In 2000, the brick oven tradition officially passed to Dave and Tarryll Shomento, who took over as owners and operators. The business is now a third generation tradition as their daughter Angela and her husband Shannon serve as the managers. Striving to always serve customers right the first time, they proudly serve the secret recipes that bear their family’s name.
The Shomento’s also operate the Sammy’s Pizza in the Dakota Square Mall Food Court in Minot and the Sammy’s Pizza in Bismarck.
